Canadian Parliament - Centre Block (Heritage)

This work was done in two projects. The new Senate Committee Room was serviced with an air conditioning system consisting of two new air handling units (AHU's) which were installed in the basement. X-L-Air was responsible for sprinklers, plumbing, HVAC and DDC controls.

The South Face Pressurization project consisted of two 100% outside air conditioning units used to pressurize the corridor on the south face of the building, all floors allowing important stone preservation work to be done on the outside walls.

The old heritage solid wood doors were removed and equally solid vented temporary doors were installed in their place, to be replaced by the original doors when all restoration work was completed.

Working in Canada's most significant, high profile, heritage building added to the challenge X-L-Air met.
