Environment Canada ETC Facility Boiler Retrofit River Road, Gloucester

X-L-Air was the general contractor. The work involved increasing the capacity of the heating systems by adding one new Buderus boiler, converting another larger Buderus boiler from oil to gas-fired, retrofitting two other boilers, installing new heating systems in part of the building, new pumps, piping, electrical work and DDC controls.

This was a technically challenging project as the ETC complex is Environment Canada's main laboratory, vehicle testing and research facility and had to be kept operational around the clock.
